MIELI Crisis Center Osviitta is a place where anyone in need of support can come for low threshold conversation help. We have trained volunteers and staff who will listen to you and support you with difficult situations in life, for example:

• anxiety, worries and stress in everyday life
• marital or family problems
• loss of a close person

Your visit is confidential and free of charge. If you wish, you can remain anonymous. We hope you book your appointment in advance, so that we can find an English speaking worker or volunteer for you. Even then, the wait is short and you do not have to give out any personal contact information. Keep in mind that we do not offer therapy, social or health care services.

Osviitta offers services mostly in Finnish. We offer limited services in English. If you need crisis help in another language, an interpreter is required. A family member cannot act as the interpreter. You may use the services of an officially licensed interpreter or you may request one through social services for adults.
