Turku Crisis Center – Support and help
Crisis Counselling
Turku Crisis Center offers short term crisis counselling and guidance in crisis situations for anyone living in the Turku region.
The counselling is cost free and anonymous if needed.
We offer crisis counselling in Finnish and English and, in some occasions, through an interpreter in the client’s mother tongue.
No referral needed
No referral is needed to book an appointment, your own experience of crisis is enough.
Common reasons for the client to seek help from Turku Crisis Centre:
- Difficult situation in life
- Marital relationship problems and family problems
- Accidents, violence
- Sexual assault or abuse
- Suicidal thoughts or attempt of suicide
- Sudden losses
- Difficulties adapting to a new culture
- Worry about a loved one

You can receive short-term conversational support for difficult life situations and crises.
The Koski service offers support for those who have experienced sexual violence and their loved ones. Read more and book an appointment with a crisis worker.
